While playing Settlers of Catan with my pals, an idea sparked in my mind: why not recreate this fun game in Blender 3D? So, I grabbed my Mojo kit and quickly filmed our game. Back at my computer, I used Blender to track the footage and make it fit seamlessly into the virtual world.
Then came the fun part. I learned how to model sheep and make them look fluffy, added little animations of them walking around, and scattered trees, hay, and grass to make the landscape feel real. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Some shots just didn’t turn out right. I faced failure, but I refused to give up. I kept trying until it looked beautiful.
Finally, with Adobe After Effects, I put everything together, adding the finishing touches to make it look perfect. It’s been quite a journey, with lots of ups and downs, but seeing the final result made all the hard work worth it. It’s amazing what you can achieve with a bit of determination and a whole lot of learning along the way.
