I am an Arabic calligrapher based in Virginia, Arlington, and I am thrilled to share with you my latest artwork created using the AlWissam script, also known as Arabic freestyle calligraphy. This piece is particularly special to me as it carries a powerful message of empathy and compassion toward refugees.
The calligraphy reads “ضاقت عليهم الأرض بما رحبت” which translates to “The earth has become narrow despite its vastness for them.” These words struck a chord with me as I was creating the artwork, and I was reminded of the plight of refugees who are forced to leave their homes and homelands due to war, persecution, or other forms of violence.
the maroon color in the artwork reflects the mud color and this complex unique shape represents the struggles of refugees. It is a reflection of my passion for calligraphy and my desire to use my art to spread awareness and promote understanding of different cultures and perspectives.
As an Arabic calligrapher, the AlWissam script gives me the freedom to express my creativity and create unique artwork that tells a story. It is a medium that allows me to experiment with different styles and techniques, and the results are always stunning and thought-provoking.
In my work, I aim to promote diversity, encourage community work, and spread love and tolerance. I am open to collaborations with individuals and organizations who share these values and would like to commission bespoke pieces that reflect their vision and message.
In conclusion, I hope you enjoyed my latest artwork created using the AlWissam script. As an Arabic calligrapher, I believe that my art has the power to bring people together and promote understanding and empathy. If you are interested in commissioning a unique Arabic calligraphy artwork or collaborating with me, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
