I’ve always loved creating cool 3D worlds. One day, listening to the awesome song “Maly Swak” by Wael El Fashni, I got a wild idea. What if I made a statue based on the song’s message? That’s how I ended up on an artistic adventure that mixed calligraphy, illustrations, and 3D magic!
First up, I grabbed my Arabic calligraphy pen and wrote out the lyrics, trying to capture the feeling of the song.
Then, I jumped into Adobe Illustrator and turned those handwritten words into clean digital art.
Next, it was time to bring those flat shapes to life in 3D! Using Blender 3D, I carefully modeled and sculpted the writing into a giant, impressive statue.
To make the scene even cooler, I added a guy – a 3D model – looking all amazed and a little lost in a big forest with trees and rocks everywhere. He’s searching for something, and then he sees the statue with the hopeful lyrics from “Wamaly.”
This project wasn’t just about making cool 3D art, it was about telling a story with pictures. It showed how different art forms – calligraphy, drawing, and 3D design – can work together to create something that makes you feel something.
This whole project started from loving a song and wanting to make something creative. It shows that being a motion graphics designer can be super versatile, and 3D art can be amazing for creating whole new worlds. Plus, it proves you can turn feelings and song lyrics into something visually stunning!
